Questions parents ask

How do I put together a party?

Pick the activities your child will love and we'll build the party around them. Not sure what to choose? Tell us the age and party size and we'll suggest a mix.

What ages do you cater to?

Most of our birthday parties are for kids ages 2 to 10. Face painting is usually best from age 3, and littler guests can get a small flower on the arm instead, since some little ones are shy about someone coming close to their face.

How many kids can you serve in an hour?

It depends on the activity. Plan on 8-12 faces an hour for face painting at a birthday party, about 20-30 glitter tattoos an hour, and 20-40 balloon sculptures an hour with an experienced balloon artist.

Can you handle a big party?

Yes. When a party is bigger than one artist can cover, we bring in additional artists and apprentices so everyone gets a turn. A rough guest count helps us plan.

We're having a pool party. Will the face paint wash off?

Ask for waterproof paint when you book. It's water- and sweat-resistant and comes off with baby oil or makeup remover. We use either waterproof or regular paint at a party, not both. Glitter tattoos are also waterproof.

Does the princess come on her own?

A princess never visits alone. She comes with a Royal Chaperone, or you can pair her with another activity, like balloon twisting or face painting, and that artist covers it.

How does pricing work?

Every party is quoted on the activities and time you choose. Tell us about your party and we'll reply within 1-2 business days with availability and a quote. For face painting and balloon twisting, apprentice artists are available at lower rates.

Do you charge for travel?

Every booking includes 30 minutes of round-trip travel from Sun Prairie, WI. Beyond that, travel time is billed at the artist's hourly rate. We're happy to travel farther.
